American Association of Feline Practitioners Externships

American Association of Feline Practitioners Externships
American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP) Externships are available for veterinary students who want to focus their interest on feline medicine. The organization helps students locate externships throughout the U.S.

Externships offer short work experiences in a veterinary setting for students who are currently attending veterinary medical school. Students may also find either part-time or full-time work in feline medical centers, feline veterinary offices and hospitals that will give them more experience in their field.

Students interested in veterinary externships with felines may post their interest on the AAFP web site. They can also find externships by networking with other veterinary students who are currently attending veterinary school throughout the U.S.

Why not apply for an externship and internship?

The American Association of Feline Practitioners is a member-based organization that supports veterinary education and helps to maintain high standards of practice among all veterinarians providing health care for cats. The organization was formed in 1970 and is headquartered in New Jersey.
