Children's National Health System Externships and Jobs
Children's National Health System Externships accepts applications on an ongoing basis. Eligible students include those pursuing careers in pediatric neuropsychology.

Externships are 12 months long. Externs will work 16 hours a week. Their work will include assessing children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorders and will be in the Division of Pediatric Neuropsychology.

In addition to on-the-job-training, externs will attend weekly didactic neuropsychology seminars. Here they will learn from experienced psychology professionals through case discussions, and journal clubs. Externs will also participate in behavior medicine rounds, psychology intern seminars, and other teaching experiences.

The advanced externship is for third year psychology students. The Children's National Health System is a non-profit medical institution that was established in 1870. It focuses on providing pediatric health services for children locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.
