The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston is offering a paid externship, a temporary role lasting up to 4 1/2 months, for individuals enrolled in a phlebotomy program. The key responsibilities include performing various phlebotomy procedures competently, adhering to safety protocols, and assisting with training. No prior experience is required, but completion of a clinical internship with at least 120 sticks is preferred. The salary ranges from $35,360 to $44,000, and the position is non-exempt with overtime eligibility.
