YAI offers an unpaid Speech Language Pathologist Internship for students enrolled in a speech language pathology graduate program. Interns will evaluate, plan, and provide speech therapy services to pediatric and adult patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role includes training on home therapeutic programs, using electronic health records, and engaging in patient communication and care coordination with an interdisciplinary team. This internship may satisfy course credit and is part of YAI's commitment to providing innovative services to the I/DD community since 1957. YAI supports over 20,000 people through a range of programs in New York and New Jersey.

The externship is unpaid.
