CityVet offers customizable externship programs for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-year DVM students in Texas and Colorado. These programs provide practical experience and mentorship in modern facilities, emphasizing an exceptional client experience and medical diagnosis. Students work with DVMs based on their interests, and the externships come with compensation. Requirements include enrollment in an accredited DVM program, authorization to work in the U.S., and professional liability insurance, which is available for free to AVMA student members.
