VEG offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program, providing hands-on experience in emergency medicine alongside credentialed veterinary technicians. Students focus on vital skills like patient care, laboratory procedures, and triaging cases in a customer-centric environment. Applicants must be enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology/nursing program, vaccinated for rabies, and able to start within 6 months of application. Flexibility in duration and location is offered to meet school requirements.
