VEG offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program, providing hands-on experience in emergency medicine alongside credentialed veterinary technicians. Students focus on vital skills like patient care, laboratory procedures, and triaging cases in a customer-centric environment. Applicants must be enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology/nursing program, vaccinated for rabies, and able to start within 6 months of application. Flexibility in duration and location is offered to meet school requirements.

UCLA Health Nursing Summer Externship Program offers work experience to nursing students who have completed their junior year and are entering their senior year of nursing school. The externship is unpaid. Oregon Tax Court Externships are offered to both law students and paralegal students who have completed at least one full year (law) or half (paralegal) of their schooling. Externships are available in the Spring, Summer and Fall for law students and throughout the year for paralegals. Law student externships are 13 weeks during which students will work in the courts on tax matters. Externs will work up to 40 hours per week.
