Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing students, providing hands-on experience in emergency medicine. Students gain skills in patient care, triaging cases, and collaborating in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility in externship length and location is offered, with mentorship provided by credentialed veterinary technicians. Rabies vaccination is required, unless exempted by school policy.
