The Cleveland Clinic is accepting applications for its 2024 Nurse Associate Externship (NAE) Program from December 1, 2023, to February 1, 2024, offering a paid, full-time, 10-week externship from June 3 to August 10, 2024. Available for nursing students in their final semester/year of ADN, BSN, or BSN/MN programs, the externship features two pathways: Acute Care and Perioperative Care, with placements in areas like Med-Surg, Telemetry, OR, and PACU. Candidates must have BLS certification, be able to work 40 hours per week, and arrange their own housing. The program emphasizes hands-on patient care under RN supervision, aiming to prepare participants for roles such as PCNA, Clinical Tech, or Nurse Tech, enhancing their skills through workshops and direct care experiences.
