Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG), a growing U.S. emergency veterinary service, offers an unpaid externship for vet tech/nursing students. The program focuses on emergency medicine, providing hands-on experience in patient care, laboratory work, and triaging under the guidance of experienced veterinary nurses. UCLA Health Nursing Summer Externship Program offers work experience to nursing students who have completed their junior year and are entering their senior year of nursing school. The externship is unpaid.
