The program focuses on emergency medicine, providing hands-on experience in patient care, laboratory work, and triaging under the guidance of experienced veterinary nurses. VEG prioritizes a customer-first approach and values employee satisfaction, evident in their high NPS score and nomination for INC Magazine's Best Places to Work. Externship candidates must be enrolled in an AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing program and meet rabies vaccination requirements, with flexibility in program length and location.
