The Omni Homestead offers a paid culinary externship, providing hands-on experience for culinary students. This opportunity allows students to enhance their cooking skills, broaden their understanding of the food service industry, and work alongside industry professionals. Responsibilities include rotating through various areas of the pastry kitchen, preparing food for service, and following safety standards. Qualifications include the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong communication skills, and the capability to lift and carry at least 25 lbs.

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Externships are for nursing students currently enrolled in a BSN program. Externships give students a chance to increase their skill set and prepare for a career in nursing. Externs will work in one of the world’s largest academic medical centers. They will work with physicians, allied professionals and other nurses in an environment where they can exchange ideas and increase their medical knowledge. Positions are offered as a Nursing Attendant, Nursing Companion or Summer Nurse Externship. All are part-time nursing positions for nursing students.

Winter externships are offered during January and February. Externships can last from one day to one week. The externship is unpaid. Externships are offered during the summer and take place at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, UCLA Medical Center, Santa Monica, Mattel Children's Hospital UCLA, and The Stewart and Lynda Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital at UCLA. Oregon Tax Court Externships are offered to both law students and paralegal students who have completed at least one full year (law) or half (paralegal) of their schooling. Externships are available in the Spring, Summer and Fall for law students and throughout the year for paralegals. Law student externships are 13 weeks during which students will work in the courts on tax matters. Externs will work up to 40 hours per week.
