Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an externship program for veterinary technology/nursing students seeking hands-on emergency medicine experience. The program focuses on honing skills such as patient care, triaging, and collaborating in a fast-paced environment. Flexible in duration and location, the unpaid externship provides mentorship from experienced veterinary technicians (VEG Veterinary Nurses) and requires rabies vaccination. Students must be enrolled in an AVMA accredited program and begin within 6 months of application.
