Students gain skills in patient care, triage, laboratory procedures, and collaboration in a customer-centric environment. The program emphasizes safety, mentorship, and flexibility, allowing students to choose the length and location of their externship to meet school requirements. Applicants must be enrolled in an AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing program and vaccinated for rabies, unless exempt under school policy.
