Students work alongside credentialed veterinary technicians, focusing on vital skills like patient care, triage, and laboratory procedures. Flexibility is emphasized, allowing students to choose the duration and location of their externship to meet school requirements. Rabies vaccination is required, unless exempted by the school's policy, and applicants must be currently enrolled in an AVMA accredited program.
