Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid externship for veterinary technician/nursing students to gain hands-on experience in emergency medicine. The program focuses on honing skills such as triaging cases, caring for hospitalized patients, and collaborating in a fast-paced environment. Students have flexibility in choosing the length and location of the externship and must be enrolled in an AVMA accredited program with rabies vaccination or exemption.
