Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid externship for veterinary technology/nursing students, providing hands-on experience in emergency medicine. With a focus on fostering a supportive environment for both employees and customers, VEG aims to revolutionize emergency medicine with a customer-first approach. The externship allows students to hone their skills in patient care, laboratory processing, and triaging emerging cases, while benefiting from mentorship and flexibility in externship length and location. Applicants must be enrolled in an AVMA-accredited program, with rabies vaccination required, unless exempted by school policy.
