Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers a Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for AVMA-accredited vet tech/nursing students. With a focus on hands-on emergency medicine experience, students work alongside experienced Veterinary Nurses, gaining skills in triaging, patient care, and lab processing. The flexible, unpaid externship allows students to choose the duration and location while requiring rabies vaccination and enrollment in a relevant program.

Winter externships are offered during January and February. Externships can last from one day to one week.
