Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship in Oro Valley, AZ

Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid externship program for veterinary technology/nursing students, providing hands-on experience in emergency medicine alongside credentialed veterinary technicians. The program emphasizes a customer-first mentality and employee-centric work environment, with a focus on creating the best experience for both customers and employees. Students will gain skills in emergency care, patient triage, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility in externship length and location. Requirements include enrollment in an AVMA accredited program, vaccination for rabies, and the externship must begin within 6 months of application.
