Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for AVMA-accredited veterinary technology/nursing students, focusing on hands-on emergency medicine experience. With a customer-first approach and employee-centric culture, VEG aims to provide a safe and valued environment for both pets and employees. Externs will gain skills in emergency care, collaborating with credentialed Veterinary Nurses, and have the flexibility to choose their externship length and location. Rabies vaccination is required, and applications are open to students needing externship hours within 6 months.
