Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program, providing hands-on emergency medicine experience to vet tech/nursing students. The program focuses on honing emergency skills, including patient vitals, laboratory processing, and patient care. Applicants must be enrolled in an AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing program, with rabies vaccinations required, and externships must start within 6 months of application.
