Christiana Care Health System Student Nurse Externships
Student Nurse Externs work 16 hours bi-weekly and must also be available to work different shifts, holidays and weekends if necessary. The work environment is casual and the work schedules are flexible so students can continue uninterrupted with their studies.
To be eligible, applicants must be enrolled full-time in an accredited nursing program and be pursuing a career as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. The externship gives nursing students hands-on experience and the opportunity to actually work in an acute care setting as a professional nurse.
The externship is offered by the Christiana Care Health System, a private non-profit health care system that does medical research and provides medical care in the areas of cancer, heart care, women's health, primary care and more.
The location is usually in DELAWARE.
