The Tuxedo Club Culinary Externship Program offers an exciting hands-on work experience near Metropolitan New York City for culinary students. The externship includes a stipend, room-and-board and meals.

The 18-week program runs from April through October and provides culinary students with an exceptional training experience at one of the most prestigious private clubs in the world. Externs will be taught by an Executive Chef and work in state-of-the-art kitchens preparing hot and cold foods, appetizers, desserts, and learning how to cook for banquets and catering events.

Applicants must be hard workers dedicated to their profession and willing to learn. They must have a professional demeanor as well as the ability to work with a team and be able to work well under pressure. The Tuxedo Club was founded in 1886 and is located 38 miles northwest of New York City. It is one of the most prestigious country clubs in the world, offering members a golf course, tennis courts, racquetball, squash, swimming pool, boathouse and a clubhouse overlooking scenic Tuxedo Lake.
