The Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center offers a 10-week paid Clinical Assistant Program, starting on May 28, 2024. Participants work with Magnet-recognized nursing staff, gaining exposure to oncology and learning core Clinical Nurse skills. The program includes clinical and classroom orientation, assignments in various units, collaboration with nursing staff, and full-time schedules. Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited nursing program, have completed two clinical semesters, and possess active BCLS certification. The application deadline is November 15, 2023, with interviews starting in mid-November, and final decisions made by mid-December.

The externship is unpaid.
