YAI offers a Graduate Speech-Language Pathology Externship at MSA, involving speech and language assessments, development of treatment plans, and therapeutic interventions for students. Externs work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, maintain student records, and consult with parents and teachers. It fills the experience requirement for students when they apply for a residency. The externship is different than just observing.
