YAI's Graduate Speech-Language Pathology Externship at MSA offers an unpaid opportunity for students enrolled in a graduate program, focusing on conducting speech and language assessments and developing treatment plans for therapeutic interventions. The extern collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, maintains student records, and consults with parents and teachers, requiring strong clinical, communication, cultural competence, and problem-solving skills. The program provides practical experience in pediatric speech-language pathology and may satisfy course credit, subject to institutional approval.
