This is an 8-week Student Nursing Externship program offered by a Magnet institution associated with Johns Hopkins Health System. It provides nursing students with hands-on patient care experience, mentorship from experienced RNs, additional educational opportunities, and potential career development. The program offers opportunities in various medical areas and requires Maryland CNA certification, CPR certification, and availability from June 3rd to July 26th, with a preference for rising seniors with an anticipated graduation date of Dec '24 or May '25.

Christiana Care Health System Student Nurse Externships are offered to students enrolled in a nursing program and pursuing a career as a Registered Nurse. Students interested in applying must have completed at least one clinical rotation in an acute care setting. Student Nurse Externs work 16 hours bi-weekly and must also be available to work different shifts, holidays and weekends if necessary. The clinical externships are available at veterinary facilities across the country. Winter externships are offered during January and February. Externships can last from one day to one week.
