CityVet offers customizable externship programs for veterinary students, typically lasting two weeks, with multiple location options in Texas and Colorado. These programs provide practical experience, mentorship, and a focus on the students' medical interests. Participants learn about diagnosing conditions and delivering an exceptional client experience in modern, state-of-the-art facilities. The requirements include being enrolled as a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th-year student in an accredited DVM program, authorization to work in the United States, and carrying professional liability insurance, which is free for student members of the AVMA.
