They offer an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program where students can gain hands-on experience in emergency medicine, working alongside credentialed veterinary technicians. The program allows students to choose the length and location of their externship and provides mentorship. Requirements include enrollment in an AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing program, starting the externship within 6 months, and vaccination for rabies unless exempt according to school policy.
