Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers a unique Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program, providing hands-on emergency medicine experience for vet tech/nursing students. Participants will work alongside experienced veterinary technicians to develop skills in patient care, laboratory work, and emergency case management in a dynamic setting. This unpaid externship, requiring rabies vaccination, offers flexibility in duration and location, under professional mentorship. Ideal for students enrolled in AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing programs, the program focuses on immersive learning in emergency veterinary medicine. Applications are open for students starting their externship within six months.
