Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program focused on emergency medicine. Participants gain hands-on experience in various emergency skills, including patient care, lab work, and triage, under the mentorship of experienced veterinary technicians. The program is flexible in terms of duration and location, catering to the needs of students currently enrolled in AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing programs. Rabies vaccination is a prerequisite, with some exceptions based on school policies. This opportunity is ideal for students passionate about emergency veterinary medicine and seeking real-world experience.

Oregon Tax Court Externships are offered to both law students and paralegal students who have completed at least one full year (law) or half (paralegal) of their schooling. Externships are available in the Spring, Summer and Fall for law students and throughout the year for paralegals. Law student externships are 13 weeks during which students will work in the courts on tax matters. Externs will work up to 40 hours per week.
