Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an externship for veterinary technician/nurse students, focusing on emergency medicine with hands-on experience alongside credentialed technicians. Participants will develop skills in patient care, laboratory processing, triage, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment. The externship is unpaid, requires rabies vaccination (unless exempt by school policy), and is available at various U.S. locations. Applicants must be enrolled in an AVMA accredited or candidate program and start the externship within 6 months of application.
