The externship includes practical training in emergency veterinary medicine, mentored by experienced veterinary nurses. Key learning areas include patient vital assessment, laboratory sample processing, patient care, and emergency case triaging. This unpaid program offers flexibility in externship length and location, and requires rabies vaccination compliance according to school policies.
