Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is offering a Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program, providing vet tech/nursing students with hands-on experience in emergency veterinary medicine. The program includes learning to obtain patient vitals, process laboratory samples, care for hospitalized patients, and triage cases in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. This unpaid externship requires rabies vaccination and is flexible in terms of duration and location, based on the student's school requirements. It's a valuable opportunity for students enrolled in AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing programs who are passionate about emergency medicine.
