Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG), a growing emergency veterinary company, offers an experiential Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program. This unpaid program provides vet tech/nursing students with practical skills in emergency medicine, guided by experienced veterinary nurses. Students gain proficiency in patient care, lab processing, triaging, and collaborative work in a dynamic setting. Eligibility includes enrollment in an AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing program and a rabies vaccination requirement.
