Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG), a fast-growing U.S. emergency veterinary company, offers a Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program. This program provides vet tech/nursing students with practical, hands-on experience in emergency medicine, guided by experienced Veterinary Nurses. The unpaid externship, requiring rabies vaccination according to school policies, allows students to develop skills in patient care, laboratory work, and fast-paced clinical decision-making.
