Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is offering a Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program at its various U.S. locations to provide vet tech/nursing students with practical emergency medicine experience. Participants will work alongside experienced veterinary technicians to develop skills in patient vitals, lab sample processing, and patient care in a fast-paced setting. This unpaid externship requires enrollment in an AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing program and rabies vaccination, offering flexibility in length and location. Ideal for students passionate about emergency veterinary medicine and seeking immersive, hands-on training.
