Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG), a fast-growing emergency veterinary company, offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program. The program provides hands-on emergency medicine experience, working with veterinary nurses to develop skills in patient care, lab processing, and triage in a dynamic environment. Externs can customize the length and location of their externship. Eligible candidates must be enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology/nursing program and start the externship within six months of application. Rabies vaccination is required unless exempted by school policy.
