Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is offering a Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program across the U.S., focused on emergency medicine. The program provides vet tech/nursing students with hands-on experience, working alongside experienced Veterinary Nurses. Key skills developed include patient vitals assessment, laboratory processing, patient care, triage, and collaboration in a high-paced setting. This unpaid externship requires enrollment in an AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing program, and rabies vaccination compliance. To be eligible, students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or above. They must also be able to work the required number of hours during the semester. Winter externships are offered during January and February. Externships can last from one day to one week. Oregon Tax Court Externships are offered to both law students and paralegal students who have completed at least one full year (law) or half (paralegal) of their schooling. Externships are available in the Spring, Summer and Fall for law students and throughout the year for paralegals. Law student externships are 13 weeks during which students will work in the courts on tax matters. Externs will work up to 40 hours per week. Eligible law students must be self-starters with excellent research and writing skills, as well as a strong attention to detail.
