Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid externship program for veterinary technology/nursing students, providing hands-on experience in emergency medicine alongside credentialed veterinary technicians. Students gain skills in patient care, triage, lab processing, and collaborative work in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility in externship length and location is offered, with a focus on fostering a supportive, employee-centric culture. Rabies vaccination is required, unless exempted under the school's policy.
