Rapidly growing Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers unpaid externships for vet tech/nursing students seeking hands-on emergency medicine experience, focusing on patient care, triage, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment. The program, located across the United States, provides mentorship by credentialed veterinary technicians (VEG Veterinary Nurses), flexible durations, and opportunities for growth. Applicants must be enrolled in AVMA-accredited veterinary technology/nursing programs, meet rabies vaccination requirements, and be ready to begin within six months of application.
