Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program, providing hands-on emergency medicine experience for vet tech/nursing students. Students work alongside credentialed Veterinary Nurses, focusing on vital skills like patient care, triaging, and collaborating in a fast-paced environment. The program offers flexibility in duration and location, with mentorship provided, and requires enrollment in an AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing program, along with rabies vaccination.
