Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for AVMA-accredited veterinary technology/nursing students, providing hands-on emergency medicine experience alongside credentialed veterinary technicians. Students gain skills in patient care, triage, and laboratory procedures while working in a supportive, customer-focused environment. The program emphasizes flexibility, mentorship, and location choice, with rabies vaccination required unless mitigated by the school's policy.
