Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid externship program for AVMA-accredited veterinary technology/nursing students, focusing on hands-on experience in emergency medicine. Students work alongside credentialed veterinary technicians, gaining skills in patient care, laboratory processing, triage, and more. Flexibility in location and duration, with mentorship provided. Applicants must be vaccinated for rabies or adhere to school policy and start the externship within six months of application.
