Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for students enrolled in AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing programs. This hands-on experience in emergency medicine includes tasks like obtaining patient vitals, processing laboratory samples, and caring for hospitalized patients.
