Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for AVMA accredited vet tech/nursing students, focusing on emergency medicine skills. The program provides hands-on experience in a customer-centric environment with high NPS scores and aims to be one of INC Magazine's Best Places to Work. Students gain experience in patient care, triage, and collaboration, with flexibility in externship length and location, but require rabies vaccination unless exempted by school policy.
