Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for AVMA accredited vet tech/nursing students. Students gain hands-on emergency medicine experience, working alongside credentialed veterinary technicians. Flexibility in externship length and location, with mentorship provided, emphasizing a customer-first approach and a supportive work environment. Rabies vaccination required, and applicants must be actively enrolled in an accredited program.
