Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid externship program for veterinary technology/nursing students enrolled in accredited programs, providing hands-on experience in emergency medicine. Students work alongside credentialed veterinary technicians (VEG Veterinary Nurses) to develop skills in patient care, triage, and collaboration. Flexibility is key, allowing students to choose the length and location of their externship to meet school requirements. Rabies vaccination is required, unless exempted by the school's policy.
