Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid externship program for veterinary technology/nursing students, providing hands-on emergency medicine experience alongside experienced veterinary nurses. The program focuses on honing emergency skills such as patient care, triaging, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment. Applicants must be enrolled in an AVMA accredited program, vaccinated for rabies, and able to start within 6 months of application. Flexibility in location and duration is offered to meet school requirements.
