Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid externship program for AVMA-accredited veterinary technology/nursing students, providing hands-on experience in emergency medicine across multiple U.S. hospital locations. Students work alongside credentialed veterinary technicians, focusing on honing emergency skills and benefiting from mentorship in a flexible, fully-immersive setting.
