Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers a Veterinary Technician/Nurse Student Externship Program for vet tech/nursing students, providing hands-on emergency medicine experience. The program focuses on honing skills such as triaging cases, caring for hospitalized patients, and collaborating in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility in location and duration is offered, and applicants must be enrolled in an AVMA accredited veterinary technology/nursing program, with rabies vaccination required.

Summer Student Nurse Tech Program is open to nursing students throughout the U.S. The paid work experience program takes place during the summer and gives nursing students an opportunity to gain skills that will be valuable to their nursing career.
