Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) offers an unpaid externship program for veterinary technology/nursing students, providing hands-on experience in emergency medicine. Students collaborate with experienced veterinary nurses, gaining skills in patient care, triage, and lab procedures. Flexibility in location and duration allows students to meet school requirements, while rabies vaccination is mandatory unless exempted by school policy.
